Terco Propellant Filler Modification
This Terco filler needed to be modified to transfer cans in and out on the same side, a 'U-drive' box needed to be designed and made to fit the existing conveyors into the factory transferring drive from the outfeed conveyor to drive the infeed conveyor in the opposite direction mechanically.
Liquid Filling Line Move
This small liquid bottling line needed to be uninstalled from an old site and reinstalled in a different configuration on a new site with minimum down time. it was uninstalled and back up and running within 2 shifts.
Modification to Cap Sorter
New vibratory cap sorting bowl that needed modification to allow for two different sized caps to be used in it.
Miscellaneous Projects
Not all the jobs done at Smithy Mechanical are related to factory work. Jobs such as one off fabrications and the manufacture of replacement parts are also enjoyed.
