About Andy 

Growing up on a farm in the northwest of England, I worked with my dad on the yard from a very young age. From very early in my life I knew that fixing machinery was what I would grow up to do, and as I got older I continued to learn and develop skills.

After leaving school I served my apprenticeship at one of the largest engineering firms in the UK as a mechanical fitter, working on a varied range of equipment from pumps and small plant, all the way up to multi million pound machining centres and some of the most cutting edge equipment in existence. It was here that I developed my passion for UK industry and manufacturing, and learned my trade fully, giving me the skills to be valuable and continue learning in the industry.
